The Rosemount 3051 differential pressure transmitter is used to measure flow rate, with the differential pressure range being calculated to three decimal places； By default, there are only 2 digits; it took a long time to find where to make the change using the handheld device ；
The 3051 models in recent years do not have this feature; the decimal point position cannot be changed. The early 3051 can be changed. However, the number of decimal places doesn’t matter, as the backend system reads the current signal and then converts it into differential pressure data; this can be set by the system. It has no impact. And if both the flow range and the differential pressure range are quite large, then those few pascals in the third digit have no impact on the flow rate
