Please, experts! ! Fix it! Thank you! ! I have an E+H ultrasonic radar level gauge. After it was installed, the 475 signal couldn’t be connected to the gauge’s display; it was only possible to carry out the calibration after connecting it to the DCS cabinet. Now that the tank is already full, the gauge still shows 0.0%. How can this problem be solved? I hope someone experienced in this area can help me out. Thank you! !
A milliampere circuit is connected in series with a 250-ohm resistor; can’t communicate either when 475 is connected across the resistor?
When connected to the field device, there is likely no stray resistance; when connected to the DCS, the safety barrier introduces resistance. If the meter is functioning properly, a reading of 0% may indicate an empty value.
