The facility is supplied with natural gas, and a flow meter has been installed on-site; as shown in the figure, these are the flow data from the meter. May I ask which value should be used to determine the gas flow rate – the operating conditions or standard conditions? Is the operating condition so different from the standard condition? Isn’t the unit for standard conditions incorrect? It should be Nm³/h
The basic principle is that measurements or material balances should be carried out as much as possible under standard conditions; The process operation can be carried out under standard conditions or actual operating conditions, but measurement must be done consistently in both the upstream and downstream streams.
