The process team keeps complaining that the flow meter is inaccurate. On-site inspection shows that the flow meter is working normally, with slight fluctuations. I talked to the technician; the flow meter was fine, but they still asked to check it. How to communicate with the craftsmen?

First of all, you must be referring to a mass flow meter. There are basically no other issues with mass flow meters; if there are doubts about their accuracy, then they should be asked to provide the necessary conditions for disassembling the meter and conducting calibration. If there is a spare meter available, then that should be used instead. What’s there to explain? It’s their problem if they don’t provide the necessary conditions. Once the conditions are provided and a calibration report is given, it can prove the accuracy of the meter
