Since there are no conditions for on-site operation, I would like to ask: if the range of the selected temperature transmitter is set to 0–100°C (i.e., it does not cover temperatures below zero), then what if, due to the influence of outdoor temperatures, the temperature measured by this transmitter drops below 0 degrees while the system is not in operation (for example, when the tank is empty and there is no material present)? Will this cause any damage to the temperature transmitter? I would be extremely grateful if an expert could give me some guidance! ! !

Considering the operating temperature of the transmitter, it generally has no impact
There seems to be a limit – between -40 and 75 degrees – which can cause instability in the working board, but generally nothing serious happens
One is the range of the instrument, and the other is the operating environment of the instrument; they are two separate things that are not related to each other
There’s no problem, as long as it is not lower than the operating ambient temperature of the temperature transmitter
