As the title suggests, let’s discuss what knowledge and relevant experience are needed to switch from the instrumentation field to the control field
Switching from the instrumentation field to the control field presents certain challenges, as relevant knowledge and experience are required. Here are some suggestions: 1. Learn the basic principles of control: Master fundamental knowledge such as PID control, signal processing, analog and digital circuits, as well as the principles of automation systems like PLCs, DCS, and SCADA. 2. Improve programming skills: Master programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB. 3. Familiarity with the process: Understand industrial production processes and be familiar with the practical applications of various sensors, actuators, and control algorithms. 4. Study the structure of automation systems and their applications: Understand the common structures and components of automation systems, such as PLCs, DCS, SCADA, MES, etc. 5. Participate in training or practice: Attend relevant training or practice sessions to gain practical experience and become familiar with the application and actual operation of automation systems. In short, transitioning from the instrumentation field to the control field requires some effort and time, but as long as you have enthusiasm and determination to learn, it is entirely possible to master the relevant knowledge and skills. .
My younger brother, who was the deputy head of the instrumentation department, switched to working as a manager in the procurement department. He pleaded with me, looking sad, not to let him do that, but two years later he was working with great enthusiasm, acting like a real shrewd businessman.
Process control systems and engineering, automatic control theory, engineering design and application of safety instrumented systems, etc. If you want to learn programming, you can first receive some basic training from a system manufacturer. After gaining a basic understanding, you can then write algorithms by utilizing process ladder diagrams or algorithm blocks. If you wish to write sequence control programs in C, it will take a considerable amount of time and practice. This is provided for reference only.
There are no honest merchants; in that position, how many unscrupulous merchants flock around him every day? And there’s no real danger on the scene.
