We have three speeds for the hydraulic turbine on site; under normal conditions all three speeds are 1497 revolutions per minute. Suddenly, the speed indicated by probe C rose to 1531 revolutions per minute for one second, before returning to normal levels, while A and B remained around 1497 revolutions per minute. This issue occurs frequently – what could be the cause? Could the masters please explain it?
““Hydraulic turbine”? It would be best to specify the exact structure to facilitate discussion. 'Hydraulics\" refers to a hydraulic coupler? Hydraulic power as the driving force (driven by a turbine)? Or something else? There are two types of such fluctuations: one is a problem with the mechanism itself, and the other is interference from external signals.
1. Standards for speed gears (tooth pitch, height, etc.) and compatibility with the probe; Standardization of the installation of the speed probe (installation distance), 2. Wiring from the speed probe to the transmitter, shielding, and interference resistance. Are there any sources of interference in the surroundings? ; 3. The settings for the speed transmitter, including the high and low voltage levels, are the same as those of the other two units; correct ; I have encountered situations where the speed of the turbine expander rose to the trip speed, then returned to normal immediately, with no identifiable cause. Later, imported speed probes and speed transmitters were installed, and no problems have occurred since then. If high safety standards are required, it is recommended to choose products with SIL certification. The manufacturer later admitted that the original speed probe had a certain probability of malfunctioning.
