How many IO points can a PLC control cabinet with dimensions of 700*600*1800 accommodate? For a heat station, including the reserved points, there are around 260 points in total. Is a PLC control cabinet of 700*600*1800 large enough for this?
If the digital signals are isolated using relays and the analog signals are isolated with signal isolators or safety barriers, it definitely won’t work – there’s not enough space.
It can’t be said in such general terms. If they are all DI points, choose 16 channels; one rack can hold 10 DI cards, so two racks will be sufficient. If it’s DO, then what about relays? Whether it is a thermoresistor, thermocouple, or standard current signal, the number of channels may be 8. So with that question, I can’t reply to you
