Selection of flow meter for acetylene slurry clear liquid

Process for producing polyvinyl chloride by the calcium carbide method. The process requires the installation of a flow meter on the acetylene slurry clear liquid pipeline. Severe scaling in the slurry clear liquid. I plan to install an electromagnetic flowmeter, and add an ultrasonic descaling device next to it; I’m not sure if that’s feasible. Which gentleman has used ultrasonic descaling equipment on slurry liquid pipelines, and what is the range of its effectiveness? To what extent will the pipe wall not become fouled?
