Types of bottom valve: bottom ball valve, upward-opening valve, downward-opening valve, upper and lower flange dimensions, (added: temperature, pressure, medium, application, pipe material). Is considering these sufficient? What other factors need to be taken into account? To prevent internal leakage in the valves caused by impurities present at the bottom of the tower, it is common to install two valves in series; the root valve is kept fully open during operation, and control over it is applied only when the subsequent valve needs to be replaced or serviced. This is just one approach. The rest that do not convey the meaning need to be made explicit.
Install a plunger valve that is level with the bottom, and fit a ball valve on the outlet pipe of this valve.
