Experts, do you have any experience using hardwired controls over a distance of around 1.5 kilometers (with the site being 1.5 km away from the control room) to directly drive the relay at the site? Do I need to add anything to China League One? Also, with such a distance, how should the electric contact level gauge on the steam drum be handled?
Without practical experience, it should not be a major problem. First, one needs to know the power of the intermediate relay or directly measure the resistance of the coil; the cable should be selected based on the voltage. The resistance per unit length of a copper wire cable is R=0.0178/S Ω/m. Alternatively, one can simply ask about the design of the electrical interconnection cables.
The central control unit and the field site communicate via optical cables, and the operation of the relays is achieved through the field control box, which should be more reliable.
