Can a valve island be placed in an explosion-proof box?

There are pneumatic valves at the explosion-proof area site; can an solenoid valve island be placed inside the explosion-proof box? Will it fail to function properly due to poor breathability? How to solve it

Do you mean that only ASCO can be used, or can other brands also be installed in explosion-proof cabinets? Then may I ask how exhaust is achieved?
Now that you mention it, I think it’s not appropriate either. Otherwise the explosion-proof environment will be compromised; unless the air supply and exhaust systems in the valve island are isolated, then this explosion-proof box serves no purpose at all
It is placed in an explosion-proof box, and then measures are taken to address the exhaust issue. Doing this complicates things. It is better to place the solenoid valve separately. Simple and easy to construct/maintain.
No, I mean, I made an ASCO solenoid valve for use in engineering. Stainless steel explosion-proof box + ASCO explosion-proof solenoid valve.
