Discuss separately whether surge protectors should be installed on the UPS inputs and outputs for standby and online modes, as well as for three-phase and single-phase systems, and how to select the appropriate models...
The AC power output by a UPS is generated through inversion, so there should be no possibility of surges in itself, unless there is some problem with the wiring and another power source gets mixed in. The input side of the UPS leads to the rectification and filtering components; it is sufficient to consider only the voltage tolerance of the rectification and filtering unit.
