It seems that the trend in design institutes these days is to use directly-mounted pressure transmitters. I have a question I’m not sure about. For horizontal pipelines, the pressure transducer is directly installed on the vertical pressure tapping pipe ； For vertical pipelines, the pressure tapping pipe should be bent 90° upward before the pressure transducer is installed. I would like to ask whether these two installation methods require additional support for the pressure transmitter Is it still not necessary to use a support; is it sufficient to rely on the pressure guide tube to hold the weight of the transmitter? Also, for direct installation, is it necessary for the pressure transmitter to come with a two-valve assembly?
The weight of a direct-connection pressure transducer is not high, and the pressure lead can provide support. It is very necessary to have a two-valve assembly or a stop valve. Facilitates maintenance and replacement
I checked, and the weight of the above direct-installation pressure transmitter is about 2.2 KG, plus the weight of the 2-valve assembly. Can it be supported solely by the pressure lead?
