How to zero the transmitter

The setup method may vary from one manufacturer to another. For radar level transmitters, it is generally necessary to set the measurement height and the detection height; if the current setting for both the measurement height and the detection height is zero, that’s fine, as the measurement height represents the range of measurement. Or look for it; there should be an option to set it directly to zero. For single-flange level measurement, the pressure difference is calculated based on the tank height; this pressure difference serves as the measure of height. The zero point can be adjusted by shifting it or by setting it directly. It is difficult to maintain the same height for both the radar and the single-flange on the same tank; generally, the zero level of the single-flange is used as the reference, and the radar calculates its readings based on the measurement height of that single flange. It is not possible to measure anything below the flange opening

Most instruments come equipped with a zero-setting knob, but the adjustment range is usually very limited; it is recommended to use a manual controller for zeroing.
