As shown in the figure below, this is a differential pressure sensor: one end of the valve is connected to the sensor, while the other end has two pressure measurement points located before and after the filter. The question is, if I want to calibrate the sensor, how should I operate these five valves to bring them into a closed state? And what is the sequence of switching them back to their operating state once calibration is complete? I ask this because I remember that for differential pressure level gauges, the three valves have a specific sequence in which they need to be opened and closed; otherwise, the gauge may get damaged.
Valves for balancing pressure are operated at both ends and then closed, so that the pressure acting on the pressure-measuring components is reduced. Damage is unlikely, as the diaphragm is under considerable pressure. The key is to ensure that the pressure tap is not blocked.
