Are there clear requirements regarding the calibration cycle for instruments installed at major hazard sources? If so, please indicate the source of the document requirements. Thank you
Article 9 of the Metrology Law stipulates that instruments used for safety protection, environmental monitoring, trade settlement, and medical and health purposes, and which are included in the list of instruments subject to mandatory inspection, are considered metrological devices that require mandatory inspection. Such inspections must be carried out in accordance with the inspection cycles specified in the relevant regulations. As for the rest of the instruments, they can be inspected or calibrated according to their actual usage conditions, with the inspection intervals possibly being longer than those specified in the regulations.
