I have a question: when measuring the pressure of high-temperature flue gas using a pressure transducer, is it necessary to use a condensation container, for temperatures ranging from 300 to 1000 degrees, under negative/slightly positive pressure?;
No addition was made; there are no condensation containers for the pressure in either the heating furnace or the incinerator
In the projects we worked on before, we only increased the steam pressure; however, the specifications state that when the local pressure gauge indicates temperatures above 60 degrees, a condensation coil or siphon tube must be installed to handle the hot gases that may condense
With negative pressure, there should be no major issues with condensation, as the pressure guide tube itself cools down. However, it is generally necessary to use an anti-clogging pressure sampler.
I’ve never seen anything like this anti-clogging voltage divider sampler in the installation manuals; what is it?
There is no flow of air at the pressure tap, so a condenser is not required
Not only is it unnecessary to add anything, but the pressure tapping tube should also be as thick, straight, and short as possible. At such high temperatures, either insulation or a lining is required; 200 mm distance between the pressure gauge and the insulation is sufficient. The length can also be determined based on the temperatures of other connections in practice.
