In a normal safety environment, in addition to having clear markings, oxygen level monitoring should also be installed; however, the purpose of this monitoring is merely to detect any obvious leaks. If there is a flammable, combustible, or explosive atmosphere in the surroundings, in addition to imposing fire bans and appropriate safety signs, strict monitoring and alarm systems for oxygen leaks should also be in place. This is because an oxygen-rich atmosphere with a concentration higher than the average oxygen level in the air can alter the explosion limits, leading to more intense burning and explosions.
