Common problems in cable installation: 11. The instrument cables are installed without proper cable terminals, or the shielding is not grounded; in some cases, shielding is present but not properly utilized. l Analysis and prevention: l After the cables are laid, cable terminals should be installed at both ends. When making cable terminations, the insulating tape should be dry, clean, free of wrinkles, and without gaps between layers ; When removing the shielding ground wire, the insulation should not be damaged ; In humid or oily areas, appropriate moisture and oil prevention measures should be in place.
This is one of the reasons why working as an instrument technician is not easy; it seems like there isn’t much work to be done, and anyone can do it. If you really go all out, it’s very time-consuming and requires high skill levels
In fact, no such long time is given for the instruments to be developed gradually; as soon as the installation is complete, pressure is put on right away!
