What do the letters ABA, BAB, AAA, DBA for pipe grades mean?
The regulations vary from project to project; you need to check the pipeline grade specifications for that particular project. The overview diagram on the PID page should also contain this information. Generally, the first digit indicates the pressure rating, the second digit indicates the material, and the third digit indicates the sequence number (in some cases, it indicates the type of gasket)
The pipeline grade table contains detailed parameters, but this is generally not used as a final product file
