Which model is appropriate for the DCS remote measurement of storage tank level? The exhaust gas from the 20-cubic-meter storage tank is discharged directly, while that from the 100-cubic-meter tank goes into an exhaust gas condenser; the 300-cubic-meter tank is equipped with a nitrogen seal. Let’s discuss which type of remote level gauge would be suitable in each case.

Currently, all remote-level gauges are pressure transmitters, and there are hardly any that provide accurate readings
It’s definitely impossible to determine medium instability using pressure-based methods; it is recommended to use devices with remote transmission capabilities such as magnetic flap switches. Provide the manufacturer with detailed information regarding the process conditions – if the details are too vague, it will be difficult for the manufacturer to make a choice
Why is it not allowed? Is a single-flange level transmitter or a double-flange one being used? Is there a problem with the installation location? Is the dielectric density clearly provided by the supplier?
