Problems with Hilscher OPC communication

I use two virtual machines; one has KingView installed on it and serves as a server. One unit equipped with WinCC serves as the client, and the OPC communication test has been successful. I’m currently testing it on the client machine using the macros6 server software that comes with Allen-Bradley M6.5.4, and data is being received. However, it’s not possible to write the data to the M6 database; I’m not sure what the reason for this is. I’m using simulation right now. Read-write debugging failed. It seems that the data cannot be written. Do you know what the reason is? I used the intermediate variable AM in the configuration file to create two points.
You need to enter it into the M6 database; change (bengcal, an engineering calculation attribute) in your intermediate variables to \"output point\", and change EW (which is labeled as an IO station in the communication settings) to TRUE. That’s all
I’m asking, was it resolved later? I also want to use OPC to write data into the simulated MACS system for control configuration.
OP, I’ve encountered the same problem. There are issues with the Hollyland OPC client and MACS6 tag reading/writing; writing to the server fails, and the actual value remains 0 even after refreshing. I wonder if the original poster has handled it properly? The software is also 6.5.4
