Regarding the remote transmission issue of glass plate level gauges

Glass plate level gauges do not come with remote transmission capabilities, but a colleague said that a remote transmitter can be installed on such gauges. Is this possible? I have never encountered this before; online searches indicate that there are patents for glass plate level gauges with remote transmission functions, but I’m not entirely sure about the details. I wonder if any of you sea friends have heard of or come across glass panels that can enable long-distance transmission; let’s discuss it

By utilizing machine vision principles, remote operation is possible. Under normal circumstances, it makes sense to use a visual level gauge when the glass level is below 300 mm.
Magnetic level gauges with remote transmission are used quite often, right? :lol
Many manufacturers’ products can be used to create magnetic flap level gauges with remote transmission; they can function as local level gauges as well as transmit data to the control room.
