The two-wire ultrasonic level gauge is connected to a current transmitter and a PLC, with the readings displayed on a touch screen. The value displayed on the local gauge of the level meter does not match the value shown on the touchscreen. After replacing the level gauge, the readings became consistent. What is wrong with the level gauge in this case? How to solve it?
Pick up the multimeter, measure the output current of the transmitter, and convert it to see if the value matches what is displayed on the transmitter. The inconsistency could be due to setting issues, or there may be a problem with the circuit’s output current. As long as the PLC is set correctly, it will work
