Does anyone know what it means when a pressure gauge is specified to have 4 dials? Are there any pictures?
I guess it has 4 large scales; for example, in a pressure gauge with a range of 0–0.4 MPa, the 4 large scales are 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 0.4, and so on.
This is an explanation from the manufacturer. I also called Tiankang, Shangziyi, WIKA, Hongguang, etc., but they weren’t very clear either. Some said that the 4 colors might represent different areas, while others suggested that they could denote 4 different pressure units.
Where did the statement you made, that ’the pressure gauge requires 4 dials’, come from – from some documentation or from the design selection specifications?
I’ve never heard of it. Personally, I think it might be about marking the dial with scales for four different pressure units.
According to the technical agreement signed with SEI, the pressure gauge on the equipment list is required to have 4 dials.
