I would like to ask the experts: what is the purpose of the single screw on the electromagnet of a pneumatic on-off valve?

On the solenoid valves I’ve come across, there are markings of 0 and 1 that allow for on-site control of pneumatic valves; but what is the purpose of these markings 0, 1, and 2? I hope experts can help me understand this
Is it from ASCO? I’m not sure if you’re referring to the manual reset function.
This solenoid valve has no label, and I’m not sure whether it’s from ASCO. ASCO valves usually have a plastic set screw on top that allows the pneumatic valve to be switched on and off on-site, but this solenoid valve doesn’t have such a feature; it only has a single set screw, with 0, 1, and 2 marked next to it. Moreover, when I send a signal from my DCS, the valve doesn’t move. I think the issue might be related to the position of this screw
That is the manual button; by using a screwdriver to press it, one can control the direction-changing of the solenoid valve. To maintain the valve in a certain position, simply turn it until it locks in place. When automatic control is used, this button needs to be pulled back out – it cannot stay locked in, otherwise no signal will be sent and the valve won’t move.

If there are no issues with the air and electricity, then it’s likely the manual reset function at work; it’s just presented in a different form. A manual reset is required after each operation, otherwise normal control isn’t possible. You can try moving it and sending a control signal to see
