Indeed, there are no people in this department who have retired early; at least I’ve never heard of or seen any such cases. I asked the company about this once, and their reply was that production workers on shift work can retire five years early, while those who work on regular shifts plus on duty shifts do not qualify for early retirement. But I also have former colleagues who work at other chemical plants; they follow the production shift schedule, and I haven’t heard that it’s possible to retire early. I guess there are various reasons for that.
