There are multiple identical devices in the workshop; can the gauge numbers on different devices be the same?
They can be of the same model, but their tag numbers must be different; tags with different numbers cannot be used interchangeably to avoid errors
For multiple identical devices, can the instrument built into the device itself include the device’s tag number in its own instrument tag number? This would ensure uniqueness.
Can the instrument tag include the equipment tag as well? That’s already the case – for example, TE-301A, TEP301B, TE-302A; the instrument tags are unique

Generally, no suffix is needed to indicate instruments on different machines.
For the same device in different locations, with instruments of the same type, letters A, B, C, D, and E are generally used for differentiation
