Regarding SIL certification

As safety requirements become increasingly stringent, more and more devices are required to be equipped with SIS. We know that the switch valves, solenoid valves, transmitters, etc., used in SIS systems need to have SIL certification; but do thermocouples and thermal resistors also require SIL certification? ? ? ?
Theoretically, all devices involved in a SIS system are required to be certified, unless some electrical devices cannot be certified. However, nowadays many thermal resistors/thermocouples come pre-certified together with temperature transmitters.
You mean after considering temperature changes? What we usually use are just thermocouples or thermal resistors as sensing elements, along with a temperature safety gate to convert the signals! What I want to know is, is a simple thermocouple and a thermal resistor necessary? ?
There are also integrated versions that connect directly to the system using safety barriers. Whether simple thermal resistors/thermocouples need certification was stated from the beginning: in theory, all those that go into a SIS system must be certified

There’s a self-certified company right downstairs in my country: lol. But in my country, almost all companies have ECM certification, and those who are familiar with this field know what that means. Common models available abroad, such as Rosemount 248 644 and Honeywell STT series, are basically all E*da certified; it depends on your actual requirements and budget

In my opinion, anything that has been certified as legal is valid
Current manufacturers of ECMs do not recognize this; it can be achieved by spending money, and currently the SIL certification issued by the Shanghai Institute is used
