Dear experts, per the regulatory requirements, the second-level alarm signals for combustible gases and the fault signals from the GDS alarm control unit must be sent to the fire control room. I would like to ask: 1. Is it acceptable to use network cables for this connection? Do I still have to use a wired connection? 2. Is only the second-level alarm signal for combustible gases sent to the fire control room? Is it necessary to transmit the secondary alarm signal value for toxic gases?
I’m not from the instrumentation field, so I don’t dare to answer the first question rashly. Second question: Why is it the secondary signal of flammable gases that is sent to the fire control room? This is because, for the fire control room, command and control of firefighting operations are its primary responsibilities; the leakage of toxic gases falls outside the scope of firefighting and should rather be considered part of emergency rescue efforts
