To change a J-type thermocouple transmitter to a K-type thermocouple transmitter using Emerson 475 datalogger, does it involve making the change in Device Information – Field Device Information – Model? Also, how do I adjust the zero point of a pressure transmitter? I’ve never used Emerson’s handwriting device; could someone please help and provide a detailed explanation? Thank you in advance.

Are there any pictures? Is the 475 interface in English? Are you not familiar with the menu when using the 475? Generally, such settings can be found under the setup/configuration submenu
You need to confirm that your thermocouple transmitter supports this modification. For the pressure transmitter, when it’s powered by 24V, connect it via HART to access the first interface; then click to go online, proceed to the second setting option (configure), then go back to the first option, click on zero, and click OK several times. Wait for a moment, then click OK again, and that’s it.
