How to wire a three-wire PT100?
For Hart, a 3-wire configuration can be used; there are diagrams available for this. It’s also possible to combine wire A with the others, resulting in a 4-wire connection
May I ask if 3W can be used as the common terminal for a PT100 three-wire system? What is the specific purpose of 3W? Thank you very much.
Generally, there are wiring instructions indicated by temperature changes; it shows how to wire them and which terminals to use.

Other temperature sensing modules work as well; they convert resistance signals into current signals
One must be able to read diagrams, and the temperature range for Rosemont needs to be set.
The module comes with diagrams; just connect it according to those diagrams. By default, it is configured for a four-wire system. Check the label – if it says X-Wire, the number next to X indicates the number of wires used in the default configuration.
