I would like to use HYSYS or Aspen Dynamic to create dynamic models, and then conduct simulations by communicating with PLCs or DCS systems in order to carry out OTS tests. Does anyone have any ideas on how this can be achieved? Are there any relevant materials? It can be purchased for a fee, thank you!
The main goal is to have a DCS graphical interface that resembles a real one, allowing operations to be carried out through this interface, without necessarily needing to be connected to an actual DCS.
It is feasible to achieve this by programming and communicating with Siemens PLCSIM, and then using WINCC as the upper-level interface; this allows for both logic handling and operational control

Yes, by programming, data from HYSYS is pushed to PLCSIM, and changes in valve opening data in PLCSIM are pushed back to HYSYS
