Selection of installation location and environment for vortex flowmeters: 1. Try to avoid exposure to high-temperature heat sources and radiant heat sources; when installing outdoors, appropriate measures should be taken to provide shade and protection from rain ； 2. Try to avoid areas with vibration and highly corrosive environments, while also considering ease of installation and maintenance ； 3. Try to avoid high-power equipment, frequency-changing equipment, and high-voltage switchgear. The proper installation location for vortex flowmeters: 1. Try to avoid installing them in pipes with high vibration levels; otherwise, vibration reduction measures must be taken, such as using vibration-damping adapters ； 2. The flow meter can be installed horizontally, vertically, or at an angle. When measuring liquids, it is necessary to ensure that the fluid flows from a lower position to a higher one ； When measuring steam or high-temperature gases, the support pillars of the gauge should be installed at an angle of 45° to the vertical direction as much as possible ； When measuring gas, the flow direction is not restricted. Grounding requirements for vortex flowmeters: The flowmeter’s body must be properly grounded during installation. If the pipelines in the installation site do not provide grounding conditions, a separate, reliable ground wire should be used to connect to the grounding terminal of the instrument’s enclosure. Requirements for straight pipe sections: To ensure accurate measurement, sufficient straight pipe sections must be provided upstream and downstream of the flow meter; there should be no components upstream that could affect the fluid velocity distribution.
