Can there be an IO cabinet on-site for two key points and one major location?

It’s far from the control room; I want to place the IO cabinet on-site. Is there a way to do that? Can it be done? There is no cabinet room on site; the cabinets are simply placed there for wiring, with communications sent back to the control room. Is that acceptable?

I don’t know where you mean by the scene Is it in an environment with explosion hazards? That’s not acceptable. It is completely feasible in on-site cabinet rooms that are not in explosive hazard areas. In fact, this is the case for all large-scale petrochemical plants at present. Connected to the central control room via fiber optic communication.

If the safety review is passed, then there should be no problems, though the situation varies from region to region.
As long as the explosion-proof rating of the explosion-proof cabinet meets the requirements, there should be no problem. But has it been considered that opening it when maintenance is needed would constitute illegal operation?
In explosive hazard environments, flameproof IO cabinets can be used, but opening them for maintenance is not permitted.
