We are now going to measure the flow rate of a soda mixture; the steam humidity is around 20%, the saturated steam pressure is 0.4 Mpa, and the steam flow velocity is low. This flow meter is used to calculate the sampling flow rate. I would like to ask the experts which type of flow meter should be chosen?
In this case, vortex flow meters or orifice plates can be used; the choice depends on how low the flow velocity is

Steam contains water; it is possible to provide an opening at the bottom of the orifice plate, which facilitates measurement and also provides some reference value. I have experience in actual production use!
Because this portion of steam needs to be collected for sampling; if holes are made, it may affect the sampling results
It’s a mixture of sodas, so the measurements won’t be very accurate. Alternatively, you can install a water storage branch pipe ahead of the measurement point; once a certain amount of water has accumulated, it can be drained, which should help to address the issue of steam carrying water. The small holes in the orifice plate I mentioned earlier work quite well in practice; it’s much better than measuring directly, right?
Relative to orifice plates, I think it’s the vane flow meter and the nozzle flow meter.
