Dear experts, I have storage tanks containing 50% potassium hydroxide, 30% hydrogen peroxide, phosphorus trichloride, 95% sulfuric acid, and 31% hydrochloric acid. I need to purchase and install level gauges; I would appreciate guidance on what type of diaphragms are required for double-flange level gauges. Potassium hydroxide – stainless steel (316). Hydrogen peroxide – gold-plated diaphragm or PTFE-lined stainless steel. Phosphorus oxychloride; I haven’t used it before so I’m not sure. 95% sulfuric acid – PTFE-lined stainless steel or fully coated with Teflon. 31% hydrochloric acid – PTFE-lined stainless steel. This is how I usually make my choices.
For double-flange level gauges, it is recommended to use Hastelloy or tantalum alloy for the diaphragm material; in the case of magnetostrictive level gauges, a 304 steel tube lined with PTFE should be used, while the flanges should be made of PP or PTFE

Yes, a tantalum diaphragm will work too... I forgot... For hydrochloric acid, a tantalum diaphragm can be used, but what about concentrated sulfuric acid? For concentrated sulfuric acid, we used to use gold plating or PEFE lining
