As the title suggests, how can a pump outlet pressure transmitter withstand vibration? Do pressure transmitters require dampers? Which manufacturers have related products?
Is seismic resistance required? Isn’t the transmitter supposed to be installed on the outlet pipe, rather than somewhere to the side?
For a short installation, can some vibration resistance measures be incorporated into the transmitter itself?
1) Measures must be taken at the pump outlet pipeline to reduce or eliminate vibrations, such as using flexible connections or adding rigid supports; 2) To make pressure transmitters resistant to vibration, they are not directly connected to the piping; instead, they are connected via pressure tapping pipes, thereby reducing the likelihood of vibrations ; 3) Domestic Shanghai Wangyuan measurement and control instruments are relatively cost-effective. It would be better to use copper for the pressure guide tube, right?
The simplest solution is to use a capillary tube (such as the EJA438W); lengths of 3m or 5m can be used depending on the piping conditions. Theoretically, the vibration at the pump outlet is not significant, and in most cases it is acceptable for transmitters. Direct mounting is also an option (such as the EJA210). The EJA438W is more expensive than the EJA210 – by about 30% in our company’s case – while the EJA430 (which uses pressure transfer tubes) is slightly more expensive overall than the EJA210.
Use a vibration-resistant pressure gauge, or install it with pressure lead pipes and buffer pipes (condensation bends). For transmitters, you can choose either pressure piping or capillary tubing as the installation method
