Settings for solenoid valves in the SIS system

In one design, valves used for SIS interlocking were observed, with several valves sharing one solenoid valve to control their opening and closing actions. Does such a design meet the requirements of the Safety Instrumented System?
I’m waiting for further explanations; from what I understand, it’s meant to allow the valves to operate in a synchronized, interlocked manner.
Just kidding – using one solenoid valve to control the air circuit for several valves definitely doesn’t meet the requirements
Are there any photos? I’ve never seen this done before
