How to install a thermometer on a thinner pipe?

When installing piping for equipment, it’s common to need to attach thermometers to the pipes. Some of these pipes are too thin, and the probes of the thermometers are too long and thick to fit inside them. Does anyone have any good solutions?
It’s a good approach, but we prefer skid-mounted equipment; having the pipes change diameter looks ugly, and it also requires longer pipelines, which affects the layout
The design specifications require that pipes smaller than 80 be fitted with enlarged sections. The bimetallic strip for on-site installation can be installed
These are very thin pipes; they indeed pose a headache. 1. It’s possible to install very thin resistance temperature detectors or thermocouples at the corners, but this must not impede the flow of the medium. 2. Surface temperature measurement is recommended. For hydrogen compressors, we use relatively thin tubes; temperature measurement is generally done via surface sensors, namely surface-mounted thermometers, along with proper insulation layers
Expand the tube or select a smaller temperature probe
Thank you very much. This method can solve some of the problems, but there are still many situations where surface-mounted solutions won’t work
