For the instrument interface, if two wires are used, the metric threaded connection is usually M20*1.5. What about when four wires are used, such as for the feedback signal of a shut-off valve – what is the size of the interface in that case? I don’t think I’ve seen any metric thread interface larger than M20*1.5 either

Please check with the manufacturer regarding the special requirements. Also, for valve testing, should a 4-core wire be used directly? Aren’t they all 2-core and 2-wire? The valve tester has two electrical interfaces
I mean, the common metric threads are only M20*1.5; it seems there are no larger common metric threads
There are also M25, M32, M40, etc.; ultimately, it depends on the outer diameter of the cable you use to determine the appropriate thread type for the connector
You can simply ask the manufacturer to provide a wiring box and that’s it
Normally, the connectors for two-core wires are M20×1.5. If there’s feedback functionality, it should be a 6-pin connector, which can accommodate two 2×1.5 wires. Alternatively, the instrument may have two 20×1.5 interfaces, allowing two wires to be connected to each interface; for example, in a four-wire instrument, there are two wires for power and two wires for signals.
