Could someone experienced tell me what is meant by the interlock for instrument power failure in the electrolysis process of the chlor-alkali industry? What instrument has a power supply failure?
Are there any specifications? Was it designed by a design institute as well? Generally, it is sufficient to connect the UPS fault signal

The power supply for instruments is usually provided by a UPS. When the UPS fails, a redundant backup unit will start immediately. However, based on the procedure you described, if one of the instrument power supplies fails, I think there is a problem with the 24V power supply in the cabinet – specifically, the switch from the field side to the cabinet side – which results in the instruments on the field side losing power and thus triggering an interlock
