The DHE radar level gauge is a maintenance-free instrument that can operate reliably for a long time. In practical applications, common faults are often caused by interference echoes. Common faults and their solutions are as follows: 1. If the instrument gives no indication, check the power supply and verify whether the communication cable is functioning properly. 2. Method for dealing with fault codes on the instrument: Clear the fault codes. If it cannot be cleared, refer to the fault code list to take appropriate action or contact our company. 3. Solution for unreasonable selection: For test media with a low dielectric constant or those used in complex environments, it is advisable to choose those with strong interference suppression capabilities. Choose a horn-shaped antenna whenever possible, with a size that is as large as feasible. 4. Solution for improper installation location: Select the best location as required. 5. Solution for unreasonable parameter settings: Reset the instrument and reset the parameters. Before putting it into use, the basic parameters must be set correctly. This includes verifying whether the low and high settings are accurate, as well as ensuring that the operating conditions match the actual situation. For other parameters such as the time constant, it can be increased appropriately when the level changes too rapidly, resulting in unstable measurement values. 6. Methods for dealing with antenna contamination: Clean the antenna regularly. Avoid level overflow as much as possible. This will cause material to accumulate on the horn antenna, reducing the radar’s sensitivity. 7. Methods for dealing with interference caused by fixed obstacles: A false echo suppression or false interwave storage is carried out. For the false echoes detected above the liquid level, once it is confirmed that they are indeed false echoes, they are automatically added to the list of false echoes. False echoes that may occur below the liquid level can also be manually added to this list. In summary, as long as the DHE radar level gauge is properly selected and installed, it can deliver excellent performance in production. As radar technology continues to improve in terms of high temperatures and pressure resistance, DHE radar level gauges will be used more widely.
