During major repairs, the wastewater from the sedimentation tank is discharged to the sewage treatment plant, which is toxic to the bacteria in the biologically active sludge and contains black ash. For planned parking, shouldn’t the liquid level in each tank be lowered first? After parking, all the water is sent to the sedimentation tank; then the filter is turned on continuously to remove any residue from inside it. The water is then sent to the underground filtrate tank, where a pump transports it to the ash-water tank. A low-pressure ash water pump is used to send this water to the wastewater treatment system. Isn’t every water-coal slurry gasification unit equipped with pipelines that lead to the wastewater treatment system via wastewater coolers? Haven’t you designed it? It’s not that difficult either.
Thank you! It is designed with low-pressure graywater to be sent to the sewage treatment plant. However, the graywater from the sedimentation tank has been passing through the fine slag filter for a long time; the downtime for maintenance is very short, which poses a limitation. So it is pumped directly from the underground channel to the sewage treatment plant using a slurry pump, but many bacteria die from the ash.
If the parking time is short, why do you need to drain all the water from the sedimentation tank? Does the sedimentation tank need to be repaired? Filter machines have a high design capacity, so I’m not sure whether they should be operated at full load in advance. I don’t know how long it takes for the water in the system to circulate again after the machine is stopped; generally, filtering is completed within two days after the circulation resumes. I’m curious about how you handle this situation.

It shouldn’t be the case, right? After the system is shut down, keep the filter running for an additional period of time to ensure that the sludge at the bottom of the sedimentation tank is thoroughly removed. Then, the slurry from the sedimentation tank is directly discharged into the sedimentation tank, from where it is sent to the wastewater treatment system via gravity flow.
