In the first step of shutting down a compressor, should the main fresh gas valve be closed first, or should the fresh gas vent and automatic pressure relief valve be opened first? (This is a three-stage centrifugal compressor; the first stage handles fresh gas, while the three subsequent stages handle recycled gas.)
Follow the operating procedures in everything. Then, according to the principle, when power is lost, it is necessary to prevent gas from flowing back and damaging the equipment, so the outlet valve must be closed. Removing the load inside the machine and opening the relief valve or circulation valve is the first step. It specifically depends on the requirements of the gas medium. For reference.
In strict accordance with the operating procedures, after the compressor shuts down, the anti-surge valve is manually opened to full position, and the fresh gas inlet valve, the inlet valve of the circulation section, and the outlet valve are closed. Open the vent valve to release pressure.
Upon compressor trip, interlock action is triggered: the inlet shut-off valve closes automatically, and the anti-surge valves in each section open automatically； The fresh gas vent valve performs pressure maintenance venting based on a set pressure. Note that this valve is not involved in interlock actions; it does not open fully, but rather vents to maintain pressure according to the amount of fresh gas.
The interlock mechanism for exiting the vehicle causes the inlet and outlet to close while the vent opens; the vent is closed or opened based on system pressure, in order to prevent the compressor from running in reverse
