Do hydrogen pipelines need chemical cleaning?

Hydrogen pipelines are involved in the project construction process. When raising the technical requirements for chemical cleaning throughout the plant, the management suggested that hydrogen pipelines also needed to be cleaned; however, no relevant requirements could be found in the standards. Has anyone encountered this situation?

Before putting our hydrogen pipelines into use, they are purged with nitrogen, and gas samples are taken from the pipelines in the laboratory for analysis; only after they meet the required standards is the next step carried out.
