Discussion on ultra-fine coal slurry grinding

For wet grinding of refined coal powder, with the average particle size to be reduced from 500um to 20um, what equipment and processes are optimal in order to minimize power consumption? The power consumption in the wet process using vertical stirred mills is currently high.
So, how about ball mills and rod mills? There is also a vertical dry grinder; I’m not sure if any of them are still in use nowadays
