There are several ways to obtain the vaporization interlock information for this device: 1. As the moderator suggested, find the process package to learn the basic aspects of interlocks. 2. To work in the instrumentation field and deal with SIS configuration and interlock logic diagrams, one needs a certain foundation in logic as well as basic knowledge of gasification in order to understand them. 3. Find a technician specialized in instrumentation who is in charge of gasification, or a technician from the gasification workshop responsible for this process; obtain an interlock block diagram or a cause-and-effect diagram – something that is simple and easy to understand.
Public parking interlock: high temperature at the syngas outlet of the gasifier, faults in the burner or burner cooling water system (leaks in the burner coils, water supply interruption, etc., leading to the simultaneous shutdown of two pairs of burners), low instrument air pressure, emergency stop button. Single burner shutdown interlock: low slurry flow, low oxygen flow, high difference in slurry flow between the two burners, high oxygen-to-slurry ratio, lost operation signal from the slurry feed pump, and valves controlling slurry and oxygen not in the correct position.
Just check the SIS system of the vaporization unit; the operators can see it without needing a process package. There’s no need to find a logic diagram either
