As a general rule, 15 minutes before coke pushing, the cover of the rising pipe and the cover of the coal charging hole (flue guide hole) located away from the rising pipe should be opened. What adverse effects will occur if the rise tube cover is not opened throughout the process, and only the coal loading port cover is opened?
1. Directly opening the coal loading hole cover can lead to explosions; prolonged improper operation may result in leaks in the furnace walls. 2. The rising pipe cannot be inspected and cleaned in a timely manner, leading to blockages; as a result, the large furnace lid cannot be closed properly, which causes environmental incidents. 3. Backflow of ammonia solution is also not easily detected in a timely manner. 4. In the event of a sudden power outage, it cannot be opened for emergency use. 5. If the rising tube cover and water seal groove are not cleaned for an extended period, corrosion and leakage will occur; as water drops fall onto the base of the rising tube, it can cause the bricks at the top of the furnace to swell, leading to leaks in the burner channels.
